About the Journal
Green and Sustainable Membranes is an international, peer-reviewed open-access journal dedicated to advancing research, development, and application of environmentally friendly and energy-efficient membrane technologies. While the journal maintains a broad global scope, it places a strategic emphasis on supporting and highlighting membrane research and innovation in Indonesia, fostering scientific contributions that strengthen the nation’s growing membrane technology landscape.
Green and Sustainable Membranes provides a platform for high-quality contributions across the full spectrum of membrane science, including material synthesis, membrane fabrication, process optimization, system integration, performance evaluation, and life-cycle sustainability assessments. The journal welcomes original research articles, reviews, short communications, and technical notes focusing on innovative membrane materials (polymeric, ceramic, hybrid, bio-based, nanostructured), membrane-based separation processes, water and wastewater treatment, gas separation, energy harvesting, and circular-economy-oriented membrane design.
