Editorial and Peer-Review Policy
Editorial Process and Peer Review
At Greensusmater, we are committed to maintaining a rigorous and transparent peer review process to ensure the publication of high-quality, original research.
1. Submission
Authors submit their manuscripts via our online submission system. Each submission is checked for completeness, adherence to author guidelines, and compliance with ethical policies (e.g., plagiarism, authorship integrity, conflict of interest).
2. Initial Editorial Screening
The Editor-in-Chief or a designated Section Editor conducts a preliminary review to assess:
-
Relevance to the journal’s aims and scope
-
Scientific quality and originality
-
Language clarity and formatting
Submissions that do not meet basic criteria may be rejected at this stage (desk rejection).
3. Peer Review Process
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent for single-blind peer review, in which:
-
Reviewers are anonymous to the authors
-
Authors' identities are known to the reviewers
Each manuscript is typically reviewed by two independent experts in the relevant field. Reviewers are asked to evaluate:
-
Scientific soundness and originality
-
Methodological rigor and data validity
-
Relevance of the discussion and conclusions
-
Clarity, structure, and quality of writing
-
Appropriateness and adequacy of references
4. Editorial Decision
Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the handling editor will make one of the following decisions:
-
Accept Submission
-
Minor Revisions Required
-
Major Revisions Required
-
Reject Submission
Authors will receive detailed feedback and are invited to revise their manuscripts when appropriate.
5. Revisions and Follow-Up Review
Revised manuscripts may be returned to the original reviewers or evaluated by the editors for adequacy of the revisions. The editorial team ensures that all substantive comments are properly addressed.
6. Final Acceptance and Publication
Once accepted, the manuscript will undergo final editing, typesetting, and proofreading before being published in the journal. All accepted articles are published online under an open access license (CC BY).
7. Appeals and Ethical Concerns
Authors who wish to appeal a decision or raise concerns may contact the Editor-in-Chief with a clear rationale. Appeals are reviewed fairly and may involve additional editorial or board consultation.
